Deep Thoughts from Andy

So Andy and I were just sitting there staring at Henry in awe, as I'm sure most new parents do. It was a very sweet moment, as I'm sure all of you who have kids know.

Until Andy says: "Can you believe we made him? He's half me, and half you...we made him and it wasn't even that hard to do."

This is when I lost it. I laughed hysterically. You know that I'm-going-to-wet-myself-and-almost-drop-Henry-tears-streaming-down-my-face kind of laughing.

When I finally compose myself, he goes on: "I mean, all we did was have sex..."

Again, I lost it. I may have lost five pounds in those few moments.

"What I meant was that we didn't really do much, but God created him."

Okay, so maybe this is one of those 'you just had to be there moments' but it was hysterical for me.

Well, that is my son! He had obviously been thinking about this. Since he is a man, you are lucky that he does share these random revelations with you. Most men do not, whereas women share what they are thinking all the time - whether men want to hear it or not! I think it is great that he knows who was in charge of making Henry.

Miss you all and can not wait to see you next weekend.
