Poor Little LuLu

So, you know how I've commented more than once on how Lucy is my fussy one?

How she just cries and I don't know what to do with her some days?

How she dominates so much of my time because she is just such a handful?

Yeah, well...I take it back.

Since I've cut dairy...she's been a DOLL.

Sweet, good natured...all smiles.

The only time she gives me grief is if I experiment with dairy to see if she just might be able to tolerate some of it.

(She can't).

Poor kid.

The whole time she was grumpy it was because she was hurting.

It wasn't even her fault.

And she got a bad rap.

Mea culpa.

Mommy promises not to eat ANY dairy for the next year.

Swear.

(But don't think I won't complain about it sometimes.)

You are such a wonderful mommmy! I am far too selfish to maintain a dairy free diet for a whole year. I am sure the happier baby will make for a happier family too. :)

It's good you figured it out at least. It took us awhile to figure out Liz had a reaction to added Vitamin C. She would drink OJ with added VC and then she would get such a blistery rash. We only knew this when she wet her diaper and was in such pain. I know TMI. But when she had OJ with no added VC, she was fine. I would forget sometimes. MY fault.

would you want two more diapers? i've got two pink pocket bum genius with inserts if you want them. they were worn probably once each (by nehemiah--poor guy). just let me know. and you can email me your address if you wouldn't mind having them. kristenborland at gmail dot com.

oh, that last comment was for the last post. whoops! anyway, i'm very glad little lulu is much happier. what a simple solution (well, okay maybe not for you, but in general it could have been more complicated at least). sorry about the dairy. that is HARD. especially if she's sensitive to even trace amounts. you are doing a wonderful thing! (and i bet the peace that it brought keeps up the incentive!)

robbin, that is CRAZY! i'm so impressed that you guys figured that out. i wonder what it is about added vitamin c. would she react to straight vitamin c tablets?
