The Awesomeness of Summer

I will get it out of the way now: I am still pregnant.

In the meantime, I bought Henry a slip and slide thing. Amazing how much fun $7 worth of plastic can be!

Dad was a good sport and actually slid so that Henry wouldn't be scared. Because you know, if Daddy does it, then Henry HAS to do it too. No amount of begging, pleading, cheering, coercing or bribery from me or Marcia would get him to slide...Dad does it once...now the kid's a pro. It's kinda disgusting really.

I love this! You really need to take advantage of the fact that he will "do anything that Daddy does" while it lasts! Too cute! Enjoy these lazy daze of summer before the real games begin!

Wondered how long it would take for Andy to sliiiide. Sure, he was showing Henry how to do it. It takes me back when we had a slip-n-slide...waaaayyy back. What fun! I'd probably kill myself if I tried now. Forget the fact that my adult kids would be embarrassed if I tried. But that's what parents are for, right?

gotta love the slip and slide. of course, in my town, it would be nice to have a wind-less day so the kids don't freeze. fun times and the slip and slide brings back fun memories.

Daddy worship is amazing stuff. I swear I can lecture, plead, bribe and punish to no avail on certain issues but if Phillip were to take the offending child on his lap for 5 min, talk to them in Swahili or something it is more effective than anything on earth I could ever do. The power of a Dad!! It's incredible!
