Stuffed.

"Hi, I'm calling because there's a package on my doorstep, but it's not mine. It's the right address, but there's no one here by this name and we didn't order anything from you guys. It's addressed to XYZ Tax Company?"

"Hmmm, let me check. Oh, okay...it's a taxidermy company...they used to be at that address, but they've moved now. It looks like we accidentally shipped to their old address. We'll have UPS pick it up today. Just put it back out on the doorstep."

"Oh. So you mean there's a dead animal in this box?"

"Yeah."

"Cool."

So, apparently, some taxidermist guy used to live here. How weird is that? It's a good thing I'm not queasy about that kind of stuff...in fact, it really took every ounce of self control to not open the box and see what's inside.

WHAT! you're NOT going to open it? What if you accidentally forgot to mention that you opened it before you realized it wasn't for you? It might be something really cool! The burning curiosity would get the most of me ... glad you are a person of such great moral fortitude.

OH.MY.GOSH.

i am so wishing you would have opened it!

i'm with jacquelyn...i don't think i could have resisted. definite moral fortitude going on there. maybe you could give a talk at the ladies salad supper and share your experience, and how the Lord kept you from giving into temptation and peeking at the dead animal!!!
