So Sad!

This is what we came home to after church today...

Big bummer! We noticed the tree was leaning a bit...so last night we fiddled with it...apparently that was a bad idea. Oops.

I can't help but just laugh and add it to the "Remember that year when..." memory bank.

OH NO! Jeannett that's awful, so sad! When I first saw the pics I assumed maybe your dogs tipped it over.

and yes, definitely a memory you'll always have. maybe getting you ready for when henry is toddling about and knocking stuff over??? :)

Oh no! You do just have to laugh about it - what else can you do. The same thing happened to our friends today - they came home from church with their tree tipped over. My hubby tied fish line from the window trim to the tree to hold it up and you can't even tell!

Oh my! How sad. It looks like it was really pretty. I'm assuming it was salvagable though, right? Did any ornaments break?
I would have laughed too. What else do you do at that point. =)

In the aftermath, only about four ornaments broke...and really only the plain red ball kind that I can easily replace at WalMart...there were a couple of clear glass ones that I bought in a boutique in Solvang, which is a bummer, but nothing heirloom or really sentimental.

so sad! that happened to my fam once, luckily we were home, so not too much damage.

Sorry about the ornaments. Our little penguin, the first ornament we got this year together, fell off and broke his beak off! :0( I think it is fixable though.

ha! that happened to us this year too. big loud bang. fortunately, none of us were in the room at the time. unfortunately, mike wasn't home to help me get it back up.
