Wishing Wednesday

If you've read my blog for any length of time, you know that I love to cook. And, I love kitchen gadgets.

Sadly, it seems that most of my kitchen gadget love is also on the pricey side.
Poop.

The. BOWL.
The glass bowl.
You can buy it. Separately. This is bad. It has taken *all* will power to not "accidentally" buy it.
It's actually not available until April 1st, but you can pre-order it.
I secretly hate you if you do this.
"Why do you care about a glass bowl so much???" the husband asks.
"Um, because it's pretty. duh. And because then you can toss it in the dishwasher."
They got themselves some real geniuses working at KitchenAid.

A pot filler over my range. Not because I need it very often but because it's just cool.

Viking Range. Need I say more?

I am an ice chewer. It's bad for your teeth, I know.
My favorite KIND of ice???
What I call "rabbit pellet" ice.
You know, those little soft nuggets of icy perfection you get at certain fast food joints???
Yeah, well...these babies MAKE that kind of ice.
Ice nuggets and Dr. Pepper.
Bliss.

What kitchen-y gadget is on YOUR wishlist???

***Disclaimer: I feel really compelled to say this, even though I truly hope that any of my readers would just know this without me having to say it. This wishlist is a silly, fun, unrealistic post of fun material things that I think are cool. My *true* wishlist is much more heavy. Much more heart wrenching. My real wishlist finds my heart breaking for children around the world with no mommies. Children who have curable diseases but no medicine to fix them. Souls who are hurting. Mouths that are thirsty. These Wishing Wednesday posts? Just silly fun. That is all. Please don't think I'm a super shallow, materialistic so-and-so.

Uh...my dream kitchen-y gadget is a personal chef. Does that count?! :)

And just a question... can you not put the metal bowl from the kitchenaid mixer in the dishwasher? If not, then WHOOPS! :)

I LOVE the pellet ice too! When I found out I was expecting the twins I actually told hubby that yay I would get to have the special ice from the hospital again ROTFLMBO I kid you not! Their ice machine is awesome!

I'm dreaming of one of those kitchen aid two drawer dishwashers and a sodastream (it makes sparkling water). And those teal peep toe shoes from last week's post to wear in the kitchen while I'm making dinner ;)

mmmmm, That bowl is so pretty!

I love those over the stove faucets, it makes soooo much sense! I totally want one too, even though I wouldn't hardly ever use it.

I dream of someday having a gas stove, a convection oven, and yummy smooth granite countertops, none of this tile stuff, it's too hard to roll things out!

Oh there's so many things I dream of! Living in the coffee shop with a "free cafe"--think feeding homeless, and kids off the street--it's hard to chose the one thing I dream of...how about a HUGE industrial size mixer? it would make, making bread so much easier!
or a walk in fridge? or freezer. a convectional oven?! mmmmm those would be awesome too. I'm drooling.

I love the ice chewing too, eventhough my brother tried to scare me off it by telling me all the horrible things wrong with it! And the ONLY place I have seen that machine is the hospital like Chelle Belle said..whenever we go there for an "emergency" (thankfully nothing ever really serious)we are all excited for the darn ice machine! But WOW are they expensive...a girl can dream

I'm right there with you on the Viking Range!!! I was just about drooling over them while picking out the appliances for our new house. I ended up with GE Monogram - which is their version of Viking - it's great and I'm really excited for it but still ... not a Viking. :o)

And a full size fridge and freezer ... built-in ... but the kitchen isn't big enough ... sigh. Maybe in the next house? A girl can totally dream, right?
