I'm now the father of.....

Twin girls. How the f?

Anyways...duh duh duh!

Lucy joy Gibson ( peanut or baby a) born at 613 am, 6 lbs,6 oz, 21 inches long.

Jillian Mary Gibson (jelly bean or baby b) born at 614am, 6 lbs, 9 oz., 19 inches long.

Born via c section, pretty sure they are fraternal. One built like me, the other like jeannett.

Jeannett is fine, she is moving from recovery to the room as I type.

We are at French and probably will be for a few days.

Praise the Lord, Gibsons. Even though they came a different route than you wanted, you did what you could and you have, I'm sure, beautiful daughters. And I LOVE the names. Will continue to pray for quick healing and recovery for Jeannett...and you, too, Andy. Thanks for your postings - now go see your girlies and I hope you can also get some rest. Love you all.

Congrats!! It will be interesting to see if the girls keep with their "in utero personalities" now that they are set free. I sure hope you can rest Jeannett, I know how much it stinks to be in a hospital but hopefully you can get some good sleep.

Jeannett & the girls are beautiful! The girls are definitely fraternal...one taller, thinner & fair haired, the other shorter, weighs more with dark hair. Both are simply ADORABLE!!! Beautiful little features...you just want to kiss them like crazy!! Somebody else took the pics so they will be forthcoming. Jeannett did an awesome job and is still working hard with those beauties. Andy was sleeping during our visit as he didn't have the luxury of meds for sleep during the labor. It is all SOOOOOO exciting, and Henry even wore his "I'm the Big Brother" t-shirt to visit his little sisters at the hospital. Love you all...and SOOOOOO proud of your hard work, Jeannett & Andy!

Hotel Jeannett is officially closed for repairs :-)
Great job, Girlie. You got them safely here. Bravo to you, and Bravo to God! Now.... rest!(It's about the only decent part of a hospital stay- use that call button a LOT.)
God bless all 5 of you!!

OMG... your babies are just beautiful. Mia is going to be so excited to see them. She keeps bugging me for a baby brother (like the is really going to happen NOT!) Anyway congratualations on your bundles of joy. Memories of being in your shoes makes me think over an over why did GOD give us two at one time. I figured it out... one washes dishes the other dries dishes! Have fun and we will pray that all test are perfect & you can all be home together soon! Hugs and Kisses for all five!!
