PoopWatch 2007 is OVER!

Well, after six fateful days of watching with baited breath, Henry finally filled his diaper...four times! Isn't it amazing the things we talk about with our friends and it's not weird?!

Anyway, not much to say except that I am just smitten with these adorable pj's that Lisa got Henry. Hey, check it out, they're not blue and there isn't a single football on them!

It looks like he's throwing gang signs in all these pictures! I spike the kid's hair and everything goes downhill!

Lisa also made him the cutest sterling silver spoon...I was planning on waiting to start solids, but I almost can't resist now! I tried to take pictures of it, but couldn't get it zoomed in enough to capture the stamping and not be blurry...so you'll have to settle for clicking the link and imagining my spoon saying Henry Luke with three little stars next to it.

Those are great jammies! Sounds like his little system figured out how to digest rice cereal! Hee, Hee =)
Brianna - Seriously, 10 days??! Caedra went nine days once, so I guess the problem wasn't so much how long it had been, but that it was hard, painful and made her bleed. It was really sad. We didn't do rice cereal anymore after that.

Actually Lara...we're not doing solids yet...he just didn't go...it was weird. But Dr. Bravo's office said that it happens sometimes with breastfed babies.

That happened with Ainsley too while she was soley breast fed. I took her in and she was actually constipated. I had to give her a supository and she also went 4 times in a day! It's amazing how excited you are when your kid poops.

WEST SIDE!!! :-)

Breast milk is so efficient that it doesn't produce a lot of waste products, as with formula fed babies. So because of that, breast fed babies don't always poop all the time.

Whoops. I guess that shows I wansn't reading your post as well as I should have. It was pretty obvious that you were still resisting starting him on solids. I'm a dork, but that's nothing new. =)

yeah anna was solely on breastmilk also. i talked to the doctor who said if she was happy, sleeping fine, and not acting like she was in discomfort, that she was probably okay. and lo and behold, she was totally fine, and when she went she wasn't constipated in the least. just a weird fluke i guess!
