Playtime!

Henry LOVES to stand. So much so that he cries if we sit him back down, and stops once we've picked him up so that he can stand up (with our assistance, of course). We figured that we could go ahead and get him one of those excersaucer things so that he could "stand" to his hearts content and look at all the blinking lights and brightly colored toys. He's really alert and loves staring up at his playmat and mobile in his crib.

I don't know what's up with the crossed eyes...goofball. It's just too much to take in Mama!

Blinking lights. Lots of them. And even more noises. (Get me earplugs!)

Notice however, that his feet don't even come close to touching! Well, I guess we'll have to keep holding him if he wants to stand!

Mesmerized.

Grinning. I'm a funny mommy! (Or maybe it's just my hair today...)

OK - this is the world's cutest baby, even if I am the Grandma! Thanks so much for the great pics, Jeannett. Give Henry a kiss from me.

yeah Brianna, put that girl on a diet! (j/k) Jeanette I don't know where you got that exersaucer but I have never seen one with so many toys!! I have found that putting a small pillow between the feet and the bottom of the 'saucer helps them feel like they are on solid ground but ... he seems to like things just fine the way they are.

Henry can go for the older woman! And besides, he loves her Mohawk! Shows she's got some spunk!

Jacquelyn, we got it at Toys R Us...the one in Santa Maria is undergoing MAJOR remodeling, so it was the only one they had in stock...which stunk because, of course, it was the most expensive one ($120!!!)...but we used gift cards so I guess that's okay. Baby toys are really ridiculously expensive...even the cheaper ones were $100! Oh well, the nice thing is that it will definately be passed down to future kids so it'll get a lot of use. One down, three more to go...

heehee!!! i don't know, an older woman with a mohawk, she might not be a very good influence on sweet little henry! (he'll have to pass the inspection of kaitlyn's older brothers too.)
