Had an impromptu midwife appointment this morning...I lost three pounds since last Wednesday (that's a first)! Which means that the swelling is going down! Woohoo! My blood pressure was still high, but lower than last week and I had no protein in my urine (which is the big telltale sign that something is wrong). Brenda said I looked less puffy in general, and she was glad to see that I had obviously been following her directions. She told me to keep up the better eating, the cucumbers and the exercising...if we can keep the little guy in there for three more weeks, she said that he can come out whenever he wants! Three weeks???!!! Wow, okay...guess we should get the bassinet set up soon just in case! (Although chances are he'll be 2 weeks LATE and then we'll have this thing set up for weeks on end!).
Anyway, I'm feeling very relieved. I was a pretty big stress case about it all week, but it looks like things are on the up and up. My poor grandma said she was up all last night crying and praying for me....thanks to everyone for your prayers...I'm not completely out of the clear, but it's looking better than it did last week! :)
She sent me home with a digital blood pressure machine thingy and I have to take it twice a day just to monitor it and let her know if it ever goes over 140/90. I'm glad to have it since instead of wondering what it is, I can just check it and have peace of mind, or at least know that I have to call her asap.

That's such good news! All your cucumbers are paying off:-) Three weeks is so close! When is your last day of work?

Woo Hoo! God is gracious isn't He? I am so glad things are better. Can't wait to see little Tesso!! Don't suppose you will be going to Aunt Margaret's family picnic on July 14th?? Ha Ha!! Take care and we will talk soon. I really didn't believe those lips were yours--you got them off of some website didn't you??
Love you much,
Peg

oh yea! so good to hear that you're on the mend.
God is so good! Praise to Him for the answered prayers. Glad the cucumbers etc. worked. It would have been sad to suffer and not get any result! 3 weeks! I have a quilt to make!
So glad to hear things are better.
Love you all!
